About the role
Advanced data solutions are at the core of everything we do at SpaceBase. Our main goal is to find smart ways of using technology that will help build a better tomorrow for everyone, everywhere. As a consultant, you will open new galaxies for our clients. With Azure as your sidekick, you make sure that our customers understand their overall cloud readiness and support them through a structured learning plan to ensure state-of-the-art delivery.
We want all our clients to be more data-driven. You will help them do just that by developing deep relationships with our clients and voicing your knowledge by sharing insights and best practices. To help them reach their full potential, you will apply your technical expertise to architect solutions that meet business – and IT needs. This means creating a Data Platform, AA/AI roadmaps, and ensuring the long-term technical viability of new deployments. You will also infuse key analytics technologies (e.g. Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, Power BI, etc.) At Spacebase, the clients may vary, but they are equally important. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape of our clients. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data architectures that meet the complex demands of modern businesses. This includes creating blueprints for data management, ensuring that the architecture supports business goals, and maintaining the integrity, security, and efficiency of data systems. Your expertise will guide the integration of new technologies and ensure that data flows seamlessly across the organization.
Requirements:
Design and implement scalable data architectures that support business processes.
Develop and enforce data standards, ensuring consistency and reliability across systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Optimize data storage solutions, including data warehouses, lakes, and cloud platforms.
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with industry regulations.
Important to have:
Expertise in SQL, Python, and Scala.
Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
Proven experience in managing large-scale data architectures.
